PANA RealTyper™

PANA RealTyper™ (PNA probe-based fluorescence melting curve analysis) is based on the change in fluorescent signal as a sample thermally denatured (melting temperature shift). PANA RealTyper™ is a powerful tool for mutation detection (screening and genotyping) by a single probe. PANA RealTyper™ can distinguish multiple SNPs adjacent to each other on a short target region. This method offers easy and simple data analysis without using analyzing software because of its clarity of melting peak. PANA RealTyper™ can be applied in the field of personalized medicine, origin discrimination and detection of multidrug-resistant microorganisms.

HPV is well-known as as major cause of cervical cancer. More than 40 pathogens in 100 kinds of HPV have been found in female genital organ. The High-Risk group of those viruses is generally known for a direct correlation with cervical cancer. That is why WHO highly recommend the HPV DNA test. PANA RealTyper™ HPV Kit can detect 14 pathogens  of High-risk group and 2 pathogens of Low-risk group. With the Real-time PCR technology, it can quickly and accurately show the test results about whether patients have those pathogens or not, and also it can be used as a screening test.

PANA RealTyper™ STD Kit is able to accurately detect the presence or absence of 13 STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections) and distinguish each infection type by Multiplex Real-Time PCR using unique Tm of each PNA fluorescent probe.

PNAClamp™

PNAClamp™ technology is the PNA-based PCR clamping that selectively amplifies only the mutated target DNA sequence as a minor portion in the mixture with the major wild type DNA sequences. PNAClamp™ technology takes full advantages of PNA probes that have strong binding affinity, specificity to its complementary strands and property of not being recognized at all by DNA polymerase as primer.
PNAClamp™ technology can be easily applied to detect only the mutated DNA sequences from the mixture with the wild type DNA sequences by PCR amplification. The wild type DNA fragments cannot be amplified by the PNA probes that are tightly bound, whereas only the mutated DNA sequences can be amplified selectively by PCR amplification.

PANA Mutyper™

PANAMutyper™ is a novel technology that integrates PNAClamp™ and PANA RealTyper™. PNAClamp™ is a kind of PCR technology and uses PNA (Peptide Nucleic Acid) probes which bind to the wild-type DNA complementarily. These PNA probes restrain the amplification of wild-type DNA so small amount of mutant-type DNA is selectively amplified. It makes possible to detect somatic mutation. PANA RealTyper ™ is Multiplex Melting Curve Analysis using fluorescence labeled PNA probe. PANAMutyper™ takes advantages from both technologies. It is not only able to detect small amount of mutation with high sensitivity, but also able to genotype multiple mutations simultaneously using the phenomena that has their own melting temperature (Tm) value for the sequence changes of the target gene.
